This customer's home had just enough room above the bricks and below the main cold water shut off valve on his front porch.

These GMX devices are mounted in the garage on the water softener loop pipe leaving his broken down Culligan salt based unit that was scheduled to be removed the next day. He elected not to treat his outside hose bibs.

A 15" deep hole was dug around the incoming (cold) water pipe prior to installing the these two devices.

The two devices are installed on the left side of pipe due to a slight curve to the lower right. The two devices are installed on the outside of the slight curve.

After installing the two devices and the 15" deep hole was filled in.

Both units MUST be installed on the same side of the pipe as shown, with the arrows pointing the same direction. If you enlarge close up # 2, by clicking the image, you can barely see the outline of the arrow sticker of the top device on the right side.
