Tubing or Pipe Sizes
Are Outside Diameter (O.D.)
Note: We
have had some customers confuse
Outside Diameter (cross section)
of a pipe with the outside
circumference. If you wrap a tape
measure or string around the pipe
and measure the length you are
measuring the circumference.
Divide this measurement by 3.14
to get the approximate Outside
Diameter to be used in the sizing
chart below.
