GMX Home Water
Softener Systems
Easy, Do-it-Yourself
Installation. No cutting pipes.
Learn about the Benefits of using the GMX
System
in your home by visiting our Features
and Benefits page.
The GMX water softener system is
primarily designed to eliminate scale
build-up in your pipes and appliances, to
make cleaning much easier, and soaps
lather better. You have the option of
installing a whole house or drinking
water filter with the GMX System if you
are concerned about the contaminates in
your drinking water. See all the features
and benefits of using the GMX system in
your home by, Clicking
Here - Features and Benefits.
The GMX Water Softener
System is not designed to filter your
water. The GMX Devices are designed to
replace the salt based unit only, not the
reverse osmosis unit that must be
installed with a salt based softener to
remove the salt from your drinking water.
A reverse osmosis unit is not needed with
GMX.
The big benefit to using
a GMX system, over a salt based system,
is that there is no maintenance and no
salt to add to have soft water both
inside and outside of your home. The GMX
System also comes with a Lifetime
Warranty. GMX is the last water
softener you will ever have to purchase,
unlike all the other systems on the
market today.
Clearwater GMX will
meet or beat any other authorized GMX
distributor's price.

How to select the
correct GMX water
softener system for your home.
| The
GMX water softener devices can be
easily placed on CPVC, PEX, PVC,
or any type of Copper, Rubber or
Plastic pipe. |
The
size of the GMX system is based on the
capacity (gallons) of your water heater only.
The size of the GMX system is not
based on the hardness of
your water, the size of your home, or the
amount of water you use. The GMX system
has no consumables, therefore, the amount
of water you use, or your water's
hardness, makes no difference. GMX is
effective to 55 grains per gallon (940
ppm) of hardness. This is higher than the
water hardness everywhere in the US
except a few very small areas. To see the
GMX specifications, click
here.
With the GMX system, all
the cold water is fully treated with two
GMX devices placed over the main incoming
cold water line as it enters your home.
The key factor with a GMX system is how
long the hot water remains in your water
heater after it has been treated
and heated. This is why you need to know
the capacity of your water heater to
select the correct GMX system for your
home. For a detailed explanation, click
here.
In Summary:
All homes require two GMX devices be
placed over the main incoming cold water
line as the water enters your home. (see
pictures here) Plus......
If your water
heater has a capacity of over
40 gallons, you must
also use two devices
to fully re-treat
the hot water as it leaves your
water heater.Your home will need
the GMX
Diamond Home System. This
system is considered our "Large
Household System" and is
purchased by about 55% of our
customers.
Most homes, with a water heater
over 40 gallons, do not use the
entire tank of hot water every
single day. The key here is
"Every Single Day".
Why, click
here.
If your water
heater has a capacity of 40
gallons or less,
your must boost
the treatment, with
one device, as the
hot water leaves your water
heater. This includes homes with
"on demand"
or "tankless"
water heaters. Your home will
need the GMX
Platinum Home System. This
system is considered our "Standard
Household System" and is
purchased by about 45% of our
customers.
You can always step up
to a larger GMX System, but you cannot
step down (and expect positive results).

consist of six (6) GMX Model 800
devices. Two (2) for your main
incoming water line and two (2)
for the output of EACH water
heater.
Order this system
by selecting six (6) individual
GMX Model 800 devices on our order
page or by telephone at (928) 978-0757.
